Emily Anderson is an award-winning filmmaker and creative director with a knack for comedy and a soft spot for real people. She started directing in art school as the artist-in-residence for the Scottish Claymores—a Glasgow-based NFL Europe team best known for not winning.

As Ogilvy NY’s first female in-house director, she spent eight years making documentaries and branded films that took her around the world. After interviewing a Russian oligarch while his bodyguard loomed behind her with a gun, she decided comedy seemed... safer.

With an infectious personality and unique view of the world, Emily captures life with authenticity, absurdity, and color. When she’s not in production, you might find her a hundred miles offshore, deck-handing on a commercial fishing boat and getting paid in lobster.
