German Torres (GERM) is a director and cinematographer whose work is rooted in empathy, movement, and a deep curiosity about people. He first picked up a camera making DIY skate videos as a teenager, and the instinct to capture life as it unfolds still shapes the way he tells stories today.

Raised in an immigrant, Mexican-American neighborhood, German brings a personal understanding of identity, community, and resilience to every project.

Over the past decade, German has directed commercials, branded films, and music videos for global brands including AT&T, Billboard, Don Julio, Converse, and Starbucks. Whether he's working with actors or real people, he's drawn to stories that celebrate character, connection, and the moments that remind us we're more alike than we are different.
